Ben Vereen Improving, Out of Intensive Care
Song-and-dance man Ben Vereen has improved from life-threatening injuries sustained in an accident and is no longer in intensive care at the UCLA Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said Monday.
The veteran performer was critically injured June 9 when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on a highway near his Malibu home.
