Chilling Out: Actor Rob Morrow is back on the set of CBS’ “Northern Exposure” after boycotting the series in a contractual dispute. Morrow, who stars as Dr. Joel Fleischman, ended his salary strike Monday after a 12-day absence from the set in Washington. He staged the protest to increase his $20,000 per episode salary to $45,000 per show. But the series’ producers filed suit against him, seeking $5 million in damages and claiming he violated his contract. A spokesman for MCA Universal said that even though Morrow is back, negotiations continue. The actor reportedly plans to work for the next two weeks, hoping to strike a deal by then. If no agreement is reached, producers plan to replace Morrow’s character.
