Share

Santa Clarita residents who work in the San Fernando Valley or downtown Los Angeles can learn more about commuting by train this fall at a City Hall meeting July 20.

The city of Santa Clarita will hold the meeting to inform residents about the area’s first commuter rail service, which is scheduled to begin Oct. 26.

Three trains capable of carrying 3,600 passengers will leave Santa Clarita at intervals between 6 and 9 a.m. on weekdays, stopping in Sylmar, Burbank, Glendale and Union Station. Three trains will return in the afternoon at intervals between 4 and 7 p.m.
