GOOD GRAFFITI: Newport Beach children’s book author Marilyn Gould tapped her years as a teacher for a new novel, “Graffiti Wipeout,” about a young Los Angeles street artist (E2). She has written an accompanying teacher’s guide to stimulate classroom discussion of graffiti. . . . “You can do different things with the graffiti type of art without doing it destructively, perhaps creating a wall (for murals) in your school,” she says. During her research, Gould talked to young artists at a graffiti art exhibit.
