FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Artesia: Pioneer Boulevard on-ramp to the westbound Artesia Freeway (91); 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

2. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Santa Fe Avenue to the northbound and southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector, Santa Fe Avenue on-ramp and Long Beach Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

3. Carson: Northbound No. 1, 2 and lanes from Del Amo Boulevard to the San Diego Freeway (405), plus the northbound and southbound San Diego Freeway (405) transitions to the northbound Harbor Freeway (110); midnight to 9 a.m. today; mudjacking.

4. Wilmington: “C” Street on-ramp to the northbound Harbor Freeway (110); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; guardrail repair.

5. Wilmington: Pacific Coast Highway off-ramp from the northbound Harbor Freeway (110); 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

6. Bell: Atlantic Boulevard off-ramp from the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; bridge rail repair.

7. East Los Angeles: Whittier Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; attenuator repair.

8. East Los Angeles: Olympic Boulevard off-ramp from the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; bridge rail repair.

9. Long Beach: Southbound No. 1 of the Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91); 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; bridge repair.

10. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Humphreys Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

11. Monterey Park: Southbound Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp to the westbound Pomona Freeway (60); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; landscaping.

12. Monterey Park: Northbound Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60); 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

13 Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lane from Soto Street to Hacienda Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; sweeping.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

14. Norwalk: Alondra Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; weed control.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

15. Commerce: Southbound No. 4 lane at Slauson Avenue undercrossing, including the Slauson Avenue on-ramp; 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.
