LITTLE APPLE: Former Irvine Mayor Larry Agran dreamed that somehow his little-known presidential campaign would catch fire and he’d be the nominee at the Democratic National Convention in New York. He’s heading to the Big Apple on Monday, but not for the convention. . . . Agran will be arraigned in the Bronx Criminal Court on charges stemming from his removal by police from a candidate debate there in March, where he’d been excluded. Agran calls his arrest “all too characteristic” of the treatment minor candidates got in the campaign.
