Hollywood Sign Flap

What’s the matter with people living near the Hollywood sign in the hills of Tinsel Town? They started to scream like banshees because Paramount Pictures “dared” to enhance the otherwise blah, all-letter sign with the glamorous figure of Holli Would, curvaceous creature of “Cool World.” They demanded no less than the instant removal of Holli from the former real estate development sign, because they deemed it “sacrilegious.”

What is “sacrilegious” about a cartoon character perching atop of a banner promoting a motion picture? Isn’t Hollywood the entertainment capital of the world? Who is more qualified than Paramount to associate its latest film with that banner in the hills?
