NEW YORK NOTES : Getting Out the Vote

Share

Like students cramming for final exams, the heads of all the delegations met in Madison Square Garden to practice voting before the real balloting begins. The phones are connected to operators backstage trained by the Democratic National Committee to deal with computer problems.
