Av Westin Joins Time Warner Joint Venture

Av Westin has been named senior vice president of development and production for a new joint venture between Time Publishing Ventures and Telepictures Productions, both units of New York-based media conglomerate Time Warner.
The new joint venture is designed to develop TV programs using the resources from Time Inc.’s 25 magazines.
Westin moves to Time Warner from King World Productions, where he was senior vice president of reality programming and co-executive producer of “Inside Edition.” For many years he was a senior executive at ABC News and is credited with developing the hit magazine show “20/20.”
