* Somatix Therapy Corp. announced today the promotions of Mark N. K. Bagnall to vice president and chief financial officer and Wanda deVlaminck to vice president of regulatory affairs.

Bagnall, 35, a certified public accountant, has been a member of the firm’s management team since 1988, most recently serving as treasurer. DeVlaminck joined the company as senior director of regulatory affairs in 1989. Previous to that she held similar positions with Cetus Corp., Shell Oil Co. and Cutter Laboratories.

The Alameda, Calif.-based firms is a leader in the emerging field of gene therapy.
