BARCELONA ’92 OLYMPICS: DAY 3 : DAILY REPORT : YACHTING : Lack of Wind Grounds Sailors as First-Day Events Postponed

Lack of wind forced the postponement of all 10 events on the first day of the regatta at the Nova Icaria Yacht Basin.

Race officials said a breeze of less than five knots was too weak for competition, and racing will now take place on a reserve day set aside after the scheduled end of the regatta.
