China Agrees to Buy 7,000 U.S. Vehicles: China said it will buy the vehicles from General Motors, Ford and Chrysler in a deal valued at $148 million that the car makers say opens the door to future ventures. The auto makers said the value of the transaction includes parts and components. Chrysler said it will sell the Chinese 3,200 vehicles and components valued at $68 million. GM said it will sell 2,708 vehicles worth $48 million. Ford will sell 3,010 Tempo four-door sedans worth $32 million.
