The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law - enforcement agencies between July 20 and July 26:

Glendale

East Colorado Boulevard, 800 block--A man’s watch and a gold rope neck chain, valued together at $1,400, were stolen from a room in the Sands Motel between 7 and 8:15 a.m. July 20.

North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--Two men squirted hand lotion on another man and then stole his wallet while helping him wipe off his jacket at 2:10 p.m. July 20. The loss included $2,000 cash and credit cards.

Chevy Chase Drive and Brand Boulevard--A woman who said she stopped at a gas station with car trouble at 7:30 p.m. July 23 reported that she was kidnaped, sexually assaulted and robbed of $40 by three men who drove her around for three hours before returning her to her car.

North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--Computer equipment valued at $13,500 was stolen from Transamerica Life Cos. between 5:30 p.m. July 23 and 7:30 a.m. July 24. There was no sign of forced entry to the 18th-floor office complex.

Louise Street and Lomita Avenue--A high school student walking down the street was robbed of a bracelet and chain valued at $425 by a man wielding a knife between 8:45 and 9 p.m. July 23.

Hawthorne Street, 700 block--Robbers smashed the front window of a store and stole two chairs, a calculator, a phone and a vase with an undetermined value between 6 p.m. July 23 and 9 a.m. July 24.

Grandview Avenue, 1400 block--Robbers reached through a cat door, unlocked the rear door of a house, and stole a stereo and CD player, valued together at $1,300, between 9:30 p.m. July 23 and 9:30 a.m. July 24.

Riverside Drive, 1500 block--A mother and daughter interrupted burglars who had pried a screen off a bedroom window and were collecting items from the house at 4:05 p.m. July 24. The intruders fled with a VCR valued at $300.

West Colorado Boulevard, 300 block--A man who passed a note to a teller at Western Financial Bank that read, “This is a robbery,” fled with $400 at 3:50 p.m. July 24.

East Palmer Avenue, 400 block--A burglar entered an apartment through a bedroom window and stole two televisions and video game equipment, valued together at $920, between 2:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. July 24.

Montrose

Montrose Avenue, 2100 block--Thieves broke into a United Postal Service office, kicked open a stamp vending machine and stole $150 between 6 p.m. July 20 and 8 a.m. July 21.

La Canada Flintridge

Foothill Boulevard, 1900 block--Two purses were stolen from two women’s lockers at the YMCA between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. July 23.

Foothill Boulevard, 2100 block--Three men each stuffed a pair of gym shoes worth $60 into their pants and fled Ross Inc. between 4:45 and 5 p.m. July 21.

Ocean View Boulevard, 5300 block--Baseball and football cards, valued together at $145, were stolen from a home after robbers entered by breaking the lock off a rear door between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. July 22.

Griffith Park

Forest Lawn Drive, 5900 block--A woman reported that a bracelet, valued at $2,000, was stolen as she stood in a crowd of people at 10 a.m. July 20.

Highland Park

Aldama Street, 6100 block--A sliding-glass window was pried open by robbers who entered an apartment, ransacked it and stole $6,370 worth of video equipment between 10:30 p.m. July 25 and 5:40 a.m. July 26.

Los Feliz

Mariposa Avenue, 1700 block--Burglars forced their way through a locked window of a commercial building and fled with $26,000 worth of clothing and video equipment between 8 p.m. July 18 and 12 a.m. July 20.

Hillhurst Place, 1500 block--More than $5,500 was stolen from a hospital after thieves smashed a front window to gain entrance between 4 p.m. July 20 and 1:30 a.m. July 21.

Ben Lomond Drive, 2300 block--Robbers forced open a partially open apartment window, stuffed a television and computer equipment, valued at $2,055, into pillow cases and escaped through the front door between 9:43 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. July 23.

Clayton Avenue, 4300 block--Jewelry and money, valued at $9,000, were stolen from an apartment after burglars entered through a side window between 1 p.m. July 21 and 6 a.m. July 22.

Franklin Hill

St. George Street, 2400 block--A television and radio, valued at $4,834, were stolen from an apartment after burglars pried a screen from a front window to gain entrance between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. July 20.

Griffith Park Boulevard, 1600 block--Thieves who apparently used a passkey to gain entrance to an apartment stole money and a television, valued together at $3,200, between 9 and 9:30 a.m. July 22.

Cypress Park

Riverside Drive, 1200 block--Thieves gained entrance to a house by cutting through security bars, ransacked the premises, and fled with $6,890 in cash and stereo equipment between 8 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. July 20.

Merced Street, 3400 block--Robbers removed the side window of a house and fled with $1,205 worth of firearms and a radio at 2:30 p.m. July 20.

Eagle Rock

Colorado Boulevard, 2100 block--A man entered a bank holding a remote-control device and demanded money after he said he had planted a bomb in the automated teller machine. He fled with $1,343 at 4:35 p.m. July 22.

Colorado Boulevard, 2700 block--Two businesses in the Eagle Rock Plaza were burglarized between 1 and 6 a.m. July 25 after thieves pried open security doors. One business lost a two-way radio and other property, valued at $8,000. The other lost $2,680 in auto parts and accessories.

Echo Park

Silverwood Trail, 1800 block--Thieves entered an apartment through a side window, stole a television valued at $1,000, and fled in a waiting vehicle at 5:15 p.m. July 22.

Sunset Boulevard and Benton Way--Two men threatened a third person on the street with a revolver at 9 p.m. July 24 and stole his wallet and jewelry, valued together at $1,835.

West Sunset Boulevard, 1400 block--A woman walking down the street at 8 p.m. July 25 was robbed of $300 and her purse by a man who ran up behind her.

Atwater

York Boulevard, 3700 block--Dogs fenced in the back yard of a house were stolen between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. July 21. The animals were valued at $2,000.

Mt. Washington

El Paso Drive, 1400 block--Burglars removed the glass louvers from a front bedroom window to enter a house. They made off with $2,973 in video equipment and firearms between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. July 23.

Silver Lake

Auburn Street, 2700 block--A television and camera equipment, valued together at $1,040, were stolen from a home between 9 a.m. and noon July 25 after burglars removed front louvered windows to gain entrance.
