Man Serving Drug Sentence Escapes

SANTA ANA — A Fullerton man convicted of drug charges escaped from a work crew Tuesday afternoon, sheriff’s officials said.
Gary Todd Reres, 22, was discovered missing at 12:42 p.m. from a county garage at 1143 Fruit St. in Santa Ana, Lt. Dick Olson said.
Reres was arrested by Anaheim police July 13 and was due to be released from the James A. Musick Branch Jail near the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station next January, Olson said.
He is described as being 6-foot-1 and weighing 185 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
