Huntington Park : Trash Collection Fee Hike of 3% OKd by City Council

Residents will pay 3% more for trash collection starting with next month’s bill.
The City Council unanimously approved the rate increase this week after Western Waste Industries increased its collection fees. Currently a single one-unit residence pays $8.71 per month. Residents will now pay $8.97 per month.
The increase comes on top of a 1.23% hike imposed Oct. 1.
