Playboy Memoirs: Playboy has donated nearly 20 hours of programming to the permanent collection of the Museum of Television & Radio in New York. Included are eight episodes of Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner’s 1959 black-and-white series “Playboy’s Penthouse” and 10 episodes from his 1968 show “Playboy After Dark.” The programs offer frank and candid discussions by various celebrities and live performances by the likes of Lenny Bruce, Sarah Vaughan, James Brown and the Grateful Dead.
