Mozart Camerata’s Season Starts With ‘Fall Splendor’

The Mozart Camerata has announced its 1992-93 season. All concerts will be given at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 600 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach, on Saturdays and will start at 8 p.m.
* Nov. 7--”Fall Splendor”: Rossini, “Tancredi” Overture; Mozart, Piano Concerto K. 491 in C minor (with Daniel Shapiro, soloist); Beethoven, Symphony No. 2.
* Dec. 5--”Strings Attached”: Mozart, Divertimento in F, K. 138; Puccini, “Crisantemi” (arranged by Camerata music director Ami Porat); Donizetti, Quartet in D (orchestrated by Porat); Tchaikovsky, Adagio from “Souvenir de Florence” (arranged by Porat); Mozart, Serenade in G, K. 525.
* Jan. 23, 1993--”Happy Birthday Mozart” (Mozart program): Piano Concerto in D minor, K. 466 (Corey Cerovsek, soloist); Violin Concerto in G, K. 216 (Cerovsek, soloist); Symphony No. 39, K. 543.
* April 3--”Bach and Forth”: C. P. E. Bach, Sinfonia in E; Mendelssohn, Violin Concerto in D minor (Clayton Haslop, soloist); J. C. Bach, Sinfonia in C; Johann Baptist Vanhal, Sinfonia in G minor.
* May 15--”Cafe Vienna”: Mozart, “Titus” Overture; Beethoven, Piano Concerto No. 3 (Daniel Pollack, soloist); Haydn, Symphony No. 87.
