Kirk A. Block has been appointed director of finance for the Southern California region of Compass Management and Leasing Inc., a subsidiary of Equitable Real Estate Investment Management Inc. He will be based in the company’s Irvine office. Block was formerly controller for the Naiman Co./Aventine Partners in San Diego, where he supervised the financial reporting process for the $160-million Aventine mixed-use project.
