More Money, Less News

I have always watched KNBC for local news coverage. I am extremely disappointed by the departures of John Marshall, Keith Morrison and the removal of Colleen Williams from the weekday newscasts. It is sheer lunacy on the part of management to give Paul Moyer $8 million to anchor the news. Why not spend that money on more judicious and in-depth coverage of the news? It is ridiculous to expect better quality news from an organization that is trying to pander to the public’s appetite for stars and shallow hype.
