Whittier : Council Approves $10,000 for Brochures About AIDS
The City Council unanimously approved spending $10,000 to develop brochures designed to educate the public about AIDS.
The city’s Social Services Commission plans to develop and distribute 40,000 brochures that will contain facts about the deadly disease and how to avoid infection. Addresses and phone numbers of local agencies that provide information or assistance will be included.
