Carolco in TV Deal: Cash-strapped Carolco Pictures has agreed to sell certain television rights to its film library to Spelling Entertainment for about $64 million. The deal will provide $25 million in cash to the Los Angeles-based company upon completion of the contract. Another $25 million is payable in one year. The original $69 million purchase price was lowered because the acquisition does not include future film releases, only library product, including such films as “Basic Instinct,” the Rambo pictures and “Terminator 2.”
