Laguna candidate--An article Wednesday about Village Laguna’s political endorsement of Laguna Beach City Council candidate Kathleen Blackburn incorrectly stated that she is a member of that organization.

There are two open seats in the City Council race.

The group also endorsed City Clerk Verna L. Rollinger and City Treasurer Susan A. Morse in their bids for reelection. Since 1976, every city clerk and city treasurer candidate endorsed by Village Laguna has won election.
