LABOR PARTY: Local beach campgrounds report a bustling summer (OC Live!). As usual, campsites at Doheny and San Clemente state beaches have been booked weeks in advance for most weekends. . . . Labor Day is the busy time. The reason, says state beach chief ranger Rich Gililland: “This is a three-day weekend and kind of the last gasp for summer.”
