Body of Infant Found Buried at Campground
U.S Forest Service workers on Monday discovered the body of a newborn baby buried in a shallow grave at an Altadena campground, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Deputy Angie McLaughlin said Forest Service workers found the body at 6:15 p.m. near Cobb Estates on North Lake Avenue and Loma Alta Drive. McLaughlin said the infant’s sex is unknown. The cause of death is under investigation.
