First-Class Fliers

Recently my husband and I were fortunate enough to have saved our money and traveled to Russia. We had an extremely inexpensive two-week cruise, a great way to see Russia. My main purpose, however, is to express disgust at the fact that on our flight to Brussels, and onward to Moscow, the first-class section was filled with NASA officials. They would have been just as comfortable (as we were) in coach. Why spend the exorbitant first-class fares?
On our return trip--same routing--U.S. agricultural officials were in first class. We citizens must struggle to save for a once-in-a-lifetime trip and watch officials drink champagne, eat steak and watch free movies in the first-class section--where they would never ride if paying themselves. I know how I’m going to vote come November.
