San Diego : Body Identified; 2 Suspects Held
A body found in a shallow grave Sunday in Pauma Valley, off California 76, has been identified as a that of a San Diego man reported missing by family members Aug. 7.
Clarence Williams, 35, was identified through fingerprints. Homicide investigators said he appeared to have been killed by a blow on the head.
Keith Hutchinson, 26, and David Self, 31, were arrested Aug. 15 in National City as suspects in Williams’ killing.
A police spokesman said the two men were arrested on evidence found at Hutchinson’s apartment, where he was apparently killed. Police recovered two handguns, a shotgun and several pounds of marijuana when they arrested Hutchinson and Self. Investigators believe the killing was drug-related.
