South Korea’s Hwan Young Cho, upset winner in the Olympic men’s marathon at Barcelona, will be the grand marshal for the 19th annual Korean-American Parade scheduled for 3 p.m. today between Vermont and Western avenues on Olympic Boulevard.
He is one of six South Korean medalists from the Summer Olympics who will participate in the parade. Hwan also will meet with organizers of the Los Angeles Marathon to discuss his potential participation in next year’s race.
