More Flashlights

Share

One wonders if Menzies & Johnson (“Tools,” Sept. 13) ever spent a night in a power outage. One flashlight per floor? Where have they been?

More likely it would be one at each bed. Better would be one for each person in the home. Certainly one should be available for each child. Then one stashed at each exit door.

They need not be the oversized types, which seem more like cudgels for self-defense. And you do not need to see 100 feet away. Just the smaller two-cell sizes.
