Upstairs Cabaret: A second season of cabaret shows gets under way Friday at Upstairs at the Pasadena Playhouse with Betty Garrett and Dale Gonyea’s “So There!,” an evening of songs and repartee playing through Oct. 4. B.J. Ward’s “Stand-Up Opera,” a spoof of operatic heroines, moves in Oct. 15-25, and the series concludes Nov. 5-15 with “A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening,” featuring the music and lyrics of Harold Adamson and Jimmy McHugh.
