I can’t agree more with reader Emily Howard (Saturday Letters, Sept. 12)--Eric Clapton was at least as fantastic as co-headliner Elton John (“Saturday Night’s All Right for an Understated Elton,” Aug. 31). However, to give “credit where it is due,” Clapton’s backing vocalists are Katie Kissoon and Gina Foster.
Also: Nathan East, bass guitar; Andy Fairweather Low, guitar; Ray Cooper, percussion; Steve Ferrone, drums; Chuck Leavell, keyboards.
