Porsche Names Wiedeking as New Chairman: Porsche, the troubled German luxury sports car maker, elected Wendelin Wiedeking as the new chairman. In an expected move, the 40-year-old Wiedeking replaces Arno Bohn, who is leaving the company Sept. 30. Porsche announced Bohn’s resignation earlier this week, saying he was leaving prematurely because of “differing opinions on business policies.” Wiedeking has been a member of the board since last October, with responsibilities for production and materials. He will keep those duties when he becomes chairman, the company said.
