Long Beach : Jordan High Dedicates $9-Million Science Building
A $9-million three-story science building was dedicated Tuesday afternoon at Jordan High School.
The building, which has 14 classrooms, 14 laboratories and three greenhouses, is the first of five to be built at Long Beach high schools to improve science facilities.
The school district has also announced a program that will bring engineers and scientists from Rockwell International Corp. in Downey to the Jordan campus five days a week to provide computer lessons.
