WEST LOS ANGELES : Restaurateur Shoots Partner, Self to Death
The co-owner of a West Los Angeles restaurant shot his partner to death, then killed himself early Wednesday afternoon following an argument over finances, police said.
Los Angeles Police Lt. George Harris said the murder-suicide occurred about 1:20 p.m. just inside the open front doors of the tiny restaurant, From Spain, at Pico and Gateway boulevards.
There were no customers in the restaurant at the time, but an employee saw the murder-suicide, police said. Neither man was identified pending notification of relatives.
