L.A. Leaders
As far as I am concerned, the only individuals “unsettled” about the departure of Los Angeles leaders are the leaders themselves and those in line to inherit the leaders’ legacy, those who bought into and worked within the existing political infrastructure. New times demand new styles of leadership. But this is true not only in Los Angeles but nationwide and globally.
I am personally looking forward to a new generation of visionary leaders on all levels of government who view the responsibility of governance as a professional task, who possess the characteristic of personal flexibility necessary to maneuver through these rapidly changing times and who are able to hold a vision of “the larger picture” or mission unwaveringly.
