GET THE MESSAGE?: Orange County motorists now have two new electronic message signs to warn them of congestion or safety problems ahead. . . . Message boards, which cost $160,000 each, were installed on the northbound Costa Mesa Freeway near Dyer Road and the southbound Orange Freeway at Yorba Linda Avenue. Within a few weeks, new signs will appear on the southbound Costa Mesa Freeway near Katella Avenue, the eastbound Garden Grove Freeway near Harbor Boulevard, and the north and southbound Santa Ana Freeway near Katella.
