Gary Hallberg’s first PGA tournament victory in five years came when he was declared the winner of the Southern Open at Pine Mountain, Ga., after the final round was rained out. Hallberg, with a three-round total of 10-under-par 206, won by a shot over Jim Gallagher, who finished second for the third time this season.
