COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titan Men Defeat Anteaters in Soccer

Paul McDonnel and Mark Vaught each scored in overtime to give Cal State Fullerton a 3-1 victory over UC Irvine in a Mountain Pacific Soccer Federation match Sunday at UCI.

After Eddie Soto gave the Titans (7-2, 1-0 in conference) a 1-0 lead 17 minutes into the match, Anthony Russomanno tied the score three minutes later for the Anteaters (3-6, 0-1).

McDonnel and Vaught scored in the second overtime period.

In Big West Conference women’s volleyball:

Hawaii 3, CS Fullerton 0--Kenyatta Lovelace had 12 kills for Hawaii (7-5, 6-2) in a 15-1, 15-4, 15-5 victory. Kristin Sharples had six kills and six digs for the Titans (0-9, 0-4) in a match played Saturday night in Hawaii.
