VAN NUYS : Rocks Hitting Bus Hurt 3 Teen-Agers
Three students from Ulysses S. Grant High School in Van Nuys were injured Thursday when rocks were thrown through the windows of their school bus near downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
Two 14-year-old girls and an 18-year-old boy suffered minor cuts in the 7:15 p.m. attack at 9th Street and Vermont Avenue, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis. The injured teen-agers were treated at the scene. The bus was carrying students from the San Fernando Valley back to their homes near downtown.
