Six-time boxing champion Thomas Hearns has agreed to pay $685,000 to the family of a woman who was shot to death at his home after a fight with his brother, attorney Marietta S. Robinson said.
The wrongful-death lawsuit filed by relatives of 19-year-old Nancy Barile had been scheduled for trial in December. Henry Hearns was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
