Labor Troubles: A group from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes has filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board against “Love & War” creator Diane English, claiming they were replaced on the pilot of her new CBS sitcom because they were union members. At least 15 employees have agreed to testify that English and her husband, Joel Shukovsky, replaced them on the first day of production last April with a non-union crew. Since then, filming has continued with non-union members, which English and Shukovsky have said they are using to ease the financial burden on their independent production company.
