NEWHALL : Boy, 2, Critical After Being Hit by Car
A 2-year-old Newhall boy was in critical but stable condition Monday after being hit by a car in his driveway, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Matthew Keshk was injured at about 4 p.m. Sunday when he was struck by a car backing up in the driveway in the 23600 block of White Oak Court. No other details of the accident were available.
The child was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Sunday, then was transferred to Valley Presbyterian Hospital, where a spokesman said Monday that he remained in critical condition.
Neither deputies nor hospital officials would disclose the nature of the injuries.
