3rd-Quarter Net Up for Triconex

Triconex Corp., the Irvine developer of industrial safety and control systems, posted third-quarter net income of $1.1 million, or 22 cents a share, on revenue of $7.3 million. For the comparable 1991 period, net income totaled $869,000, or 25 cents a share, on revenue of $6.4 million. Common shares outstanding totaled 5.2 million in the 1992 period, compared to 3.5 million in 1991 because of Triconex’s initial public offering in March, 1992. Year-to-date net income rose 82%, to $3.1 million, or 66 cents a share, from $1.7 million, or 50 cents a share, for the nine-month period last year. Revenue was up 39%, to $21.3 million from $15.3 million.
