RAMS : Coin Toss Is One Problem

Quarterback Jim Everett has at least one solution to the Rams’ first-quarter blues: win the coin toss.

In each of their six games this season, the Rams have lost the toss. In half of their games, they have surrendered points before their offense has had a chance to put on their helmets. The Rams have been outscored, 48-0, in the first quarter this season.

“Jackie Slater’s calling it,” Everett said with a smile. “Trust me, he has no business going to Las Vegas.”

Receiver Jeff Chadwick (cracked bone on his rib cage) missed last week’s game and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s’ game against the New York Giants.
