Compton Official to Be Lynwood City Manager
Compton’s community redevelopment director, Laurence H. Adams, has been chosen as the city manager in Lynwood.
The Lynwood City Council selected Adams at a special meeting Saturday from a field of seven candidates. He will succeed Michael T. Heriot, who resigned in May. Adams will be paid about $96,000 a year, Councilman Armando Rea said.
