And who said Halloween was only for youngsters? Across the South Bay over the next week, there are enough Halloween-related activities to provide something for everyone. That includes kids, senior citizens and dogs--yes, even dogs. Turns out there is a costume contest for dogs in Manhattan Beach.

Other than that, there are the traditional carnivals, haunted houses, ghost tales and costume contests designed to scare you stiff or silly this week and next week across the South Bay.

Check for the spooky fun nearest you, and remember to watch out for Trick-or-Treaters crossing your path.
