Presidential Candidate Debates

Share

The last debate (Oct. 19) has just ended. Bill Clinton is not the answer. Things may not be as great as all of us would like them to be, but Clinton is not the guy that we want running this ship for the next four years. He thinks that every person making over $200,000 a year is lighting cigars with $100 bills. The fact is, the average person in that income bracket is busting his or her hump 60-80 hours a week running a small business and risking everything. Collectively, they employ many people.

Making things tougher on these people will only lead to more business failures and ultimately higher unemployment and economic decline. These people are an asset to the economy, as well as the community.

The people making a career out of welfare and all the social programs of today are the ones not towing their fair share of the burden. Remember Jimmy Carter? Twenty-one percent interest rates? The misery index? It’s right around the corner if we don’t reelect President Bush.
