Congressional Races

Before I read your (Oct. 8) article, “Patriotism Attack Was Hatched in Oval Office,” I had already planned not to vote for Rep. Randy (Duke) Cunningham because he had voted against a number of bills I supported, such as the Brady bill, the crime bill, the Family Leave Act and the Cable Regulation bill. However, after reading your article, I have even more reasons to want him out of office. Doesn’t Cunningham have anything better to do than dig up Clinton’s vacation schedule as a college student? Did his paid staff actually spend our tax money researching this meaningless, non-issue? Clearly, Cunningham’s recent actions demonstrate that he has neither the sense nor the character to represent California’s 51st district in Congress.
