John Fisher of Shasta College in Redding scored seven touchdowns in a 49-28 victory over Redwoods on Saturday night to tie a national junior college record and set a new state record. Fisher had six rushing touchdowns, which breaks the state record of five, first set by O.J. Simpson of City College of San Francisco in 1965.
