China and Japan to Exchange Pandas

BEIJING —
China and Japan will swap pandas next month to give Japan a male panda suitable for breeding, the official New China News Agency said Monday.
The agency said China will send 7-year-old Lingling to the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo on Nov. 5. The Japanese zoo will send 5-year-old Youyou to China a week later.
