Pomona : Lancaster Retirement Party

Seventeen cities and their chambers of commerce will present awards to Assemblyman Bill Lancaster (R-Covina) at a retirement dinner at 7 p.m. today at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel.

Lancaster, 61, is ending a political career that began at the age of 27 with his election to the Duarte City Council. He served more than 20 years in the Assembly.
